After studying at the Ecole du Louvre in Paris, Corinne Timsit has internationally since 1983, accumulated a rich and varied experience in the art world.


At the age of 24, she opened her first art gallery in Paris and became the youngest gallery director in France. In 1995, she puts together a movement of contemporary art

 « ES-SENS » regrouping artists of visual arts from diverse backgrounds and media. The movement has received support from the Ministera of Culture of the moment. At the age of 30, she opened her second gallery; Corinne Timsit International Galleries based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.


In 1990 she was named by the Governor of Puerto Rico, Mr. Rafael Hernandez Colon to conceptualize and design a museum of contemporary art. After validation of the concept, she organized the meeting between Mr. I.M. Pei (architect of the Pyramide du Louvre) and the Governor Hernandez Colon in Puerto Rico. During this meeting  the project  was validated.


Since then she holds the position of cultural adviser to the Ministry of Culture (Department of International Affairs), lecturer, curator, auctioneer in San Juan, Puerto Rico, publisher of graphic works and art books, art critic, consultant for the Pollock Krashner Foundation, New York, the Rally Foundation, Germany, Spain, Uruguay, Chile, Israel, the Museo de Arte, Instituto Cultural de Puerto Rico, Hakone Open Air Museum, Japan and Chief editor of the international contemporary art magazine ArtPremium.


During the development of her career, she organized over 300 exhibitions worldwide, including a retrospective of  107 original artworks by Wifredo Lam, a Francis Bacon exhibition of graphic works, an exhibition of 130 original works of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat among others.
